Emanuel Roberts is the Founder and Executive Director of Anything Helps, a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) Trainer, harm reduction advocate, and a recognized leader in Minnesota’s recovery landscape. He is an approved CPRS trainer, the developer of the Anything Helps CPRS curriculum, and has personally trained hundreds of Certified Peer Recovery Specialists across the state.

Emanuel’s work is grounded in lived experience and a deep commitment to community. Born and raised in Saint Paul, his journey has been shaped by the pain of losing loved ones to substance use and mental health challenges. He turned that grief into purpose—creating Anything Helps as a space where people are met with dignity, support, and the resources they need to heal.

Emanuel was honored with the Changemaker Award by Twin Cities Recovery Project for his outstanding contributions to harm reduction, training, and advocacy. Beyond his work at Anything Helps, Emanuel is a cofounder of NABA (Nonprofit and Black Alliance)—a statewide, Black-led coalition that champions culturally rooted recovery, economic empowerment, and community healing in Minnesota.

Emanuel also serves as a peer reviewer for MARCO (Minnesota Alliance of Recovery Community Organizations) and actively contributes to numerous advisory boards in the recovery community space, shaping state and local strategies to strengthen peer recovery systems and expand harm reduction access.

Emanuel continues to lead with heart, humility, and bold vision—cultivating inclusive spaces where recovery is possible for all and where community collaboration becomes the foundation for lasting change
