Peter Delia is a Federal Policy and Advocacy Strategist for the National Council for Mental Wellbeing. He manages several federal policy portfolios for the National Council, including issues related to workforce, Medicaid, and substance use among others. Prior to coming to the National Council, Peter worked as a senior attorney for the Florida Senate, where he drafted legislation related to behavioral health, Medicaid, and elder care issues. Peter has also worked as an attorney for the Florida Department of Health, where he practiced administrative litigation. Peter is a South Florida native and currently lives in Tallahassee with his wife, Eliza.
