After many years of addiction, Pastor Monica found the love of God and was compelled to go to the streets with it. She worked in homeless shelters while attending North Central University. It was here that she began to grasp a vision for how God can meet the needs of hurting people by providing a place of refuge, fellowship, and healing.
Pastor Monica put her vision into action as she started, the ICCM Life Center, in 1993 from her home in the poorest and most crime-ridden neighborhood in the Twin Cities.
Pastor Monica and her husband Pastor Chris have dispatched launch teams to plant churches in Miami, New York, Seattle and have pioneered inner-city churches in Chicago, St. Paul as well as a Hispanic church.
Pastor Monica has been married for 30 years and has two adult children. Pastor Monica’s passion is to see lives changed through the power of Jesus Christ.
