Bobbi Bledsoe is the & Project Specialist for Pregnant and Parenting Women’s Services at the Greater Louisville Recovery Project. Bobbe a person in long term recovery from substance abuse and has overcome the odds and stigma related to recovery in the African American community. While life prior to recovery was filled with countless attempts to seek and remain substance free for herself and children, once achieved, Bobbi began a life of using her lived experiences and voice to advocate for not only moms of color, but all moms to achieve sobriety and realign family dynamics to break generational trauma cycles and help create sustainability in all areas of life. Bobbi has worked in the Addiction field for over 5 years and specializes in the Pregnant and Parenting Women population while actively pursuing her Master’s degree in Social Work to reach her future goal of Specializing in Trauma Informed Care.
